Wagnerian Excellence: “The Ring Cycle” Presented by The Los Angeles Opera @ The Dorothy Chandler Pavillion, Los Angeles

Applauding the Los Angeles Opera‘s first presentation of Wagner’s The Ring Cycle. “The Los Angeles Opera is mounting its first “Ring” cycle, a fascinating and complex production of Richard Wagner’s “Ring des Nibelungen by the German artist and director Achim Freyer, who has soaked the stage with symbols in a visual version of the work’s leitmotifs. The third of three cycles, being performed here at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, ends on Saturday,” advises The New York Times.
