New York Report: The Welcome Return (via Paris) of Alexandre Plokhov

Presenting some comments from former Cloak and Versace designer Alexander Plokhov regarding his new namesake men’s collection for A/W 2011, currently being shown in Paris, as made to Andy Comer of The Gilt MANual: “The collection is made in Italy, exclusively, and incorporates some Japanese textiles. It’s made by craftsmen—the shirts are made at a shirt factory, the trousers are made at a trouser factory, the coats are made at a coat factory. It’s all very highly specialized. I spent three years in Milan and, you know…you learn new tricks.” To read the full interview, please click HERE.
