Studying the Excellent effects and consequences, both vintage and modern day, of homosexual repression and liberation as presented for consideration in The Pride, the darkly insightful play, which jumps from 1958 to 2008 and back, about two men and a woman, each with conflicting loyalties and passions, involved in a complex love triangle, written by Alexi Kaye Campbell, starring His Excellency Hugh Dancy, Andrea Riseborough, Adam James, and, Ben Whishaw, directed by Joe Mantello. Outstanding themes: Fantasy, love, lust, and broken hearts. On stage at the Lucille Lortel Theater in New York though March 28, 2010.
