Excellent Exhibitionist: Tony Feher’s Naked City at Pace/Wildenstein Gallery

Presenting a detail of Naked City, part of New York-based artist Tony Feher‘s Outstanding solo installation, shown a white cube with black walls, at the Pace/Wildenstein Gallery booth at The Armory Show 2010, featuring three tables stacked with gorgeous garbage such as plastic bottles half filled with brightly colored water or red roses,  a silver bucket filled with empty Marlboro cigarette boxes, colored pills, wooden slaps of junk studded with rainbow hued push pins, rubber bands, soda cans and caps, crumpled cans, a pot filled with growing grass, and porno playing cards, among other happily Excellent items one might find in a charming artists’ studio. Price: $150,000 for each assemblage.
